Egg Freezing Program

The best time to freeze eggs is at an early reproductive age – between 20 to 35. Unlike the ovary and eggs, a woman’s uterus does not age and she can carry a baby and complete her family even in her 40s or even 50s. The younger you froze your eggs, the higher are your chances of becoming pregnant later.

To date, more than 2,000 freezing cycles have been completed at International Fertility Centre, with around 500+ egg freezing cycles conducted annually. So far, around 200 patients have come back and used their frozen eggs to create embryos. As of Jan 1, 2016, 80 babies have been born, with 22 additional pregnancies on the way. The eggs used for these cycles were harvested from women up to 41 years of age. Our pregnancy rates from egg thawing are on par with our IVF cycle rates.
